R3DZ3R0's Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage is now available! It's Free!

That's right! I've finally finished the ultimate guide. And guess what? I'm giving it away for free! Here's how you can get it:

I'm trying to help an associate of mine in getting his social media exchange site off the ground, so I'm listing the ebook under his site, Coinsumer.com.

Go sign up to Coinsumer.com. If you sign up with Facebook, you get 500 coins free. If you just register with a regular username and password, you get 300 free coins. So sign up with Facebook. Once you've signed up, click here to view the ebook, which is listed for 300 coins. Since you got 300 or 500 free coins just for signing up, you're still getting the ebook for free, and you are registered with a site that can earn you a lot of money by trading social media followers and likes and Youtube views. You can turn those coins into purchases from the online rewards store.

The ebook is a fully featured 12 step book on how to get to the top in your game, any game. It focuses mainly on MMO games and strategies, but the principles apply to any game. I've mentioned AirMech a lot, because I still consider it the best MMO RTS game out there right now, and a lot of the principles can be demonstrated using AirMech. Yes, there are some mentions of RPG games and strategies for those games too, because I know you RPG gamers are tired of wasting resources in the game and not feeling like you're getting ahead.

So go check it out! It's free, and guaranteed to get you to the top if you apply all the points in the book!

Coming Soon! The "Ultimate Guide to MMO 'Pwnage'" ebook!

Coming Soon! The Ultimate Guide to MMO 'Pwnage' ebook!

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebook
Are you tired of grinding the same mobs and monsters every day and only getting a few hundred or thousand gold coins? Are you tired of getting PK'd so often? Are you tired of working so hard to get new equipment, new gear, and new items? Maybe you're trying to pwn in a FPS MMO, and, no offense, but you keep getting your butt kicked by other players. I've been there. It sucks. Really sucks. It makes you want to RQ, and maybe you have already, but don't give up!

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebookAs I said, I've been there. I was that 'noob' that kept dying, kept failing, kept working my fingers to the bone, virtually, to get ahead, but never seeming to actually get ahead. In MMORPG's, it seemed that everything I earned got spent right away to cover what I'd used in the way of maintenance already, and I never got ahead. That's when I started developing the successful gaming strategy that I'm about to turn over to you, so you can 'pwn' like all the pro's!

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebookI've included some screenshots of the games I've played and my stats. I'm not currently #1 in TDP4 anymore, some tournament farmers moved in and boosted their score using tournament cheating methods, and when they made the most powerful items very cheap, suddenly everyone had them, and each room became a massive rocket tossing contest full of rocket missiles.

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebookI'm also not #3 in AirMech anymore, I took a short break from it, now I'm #18. I don't have time to play it 24/7 like some, I have a successful 'real life' I manage as well. I know of a few that do nothing but play AirMech all day every day, and while it's an amazing game, there are other things in life worth doing as well.

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebook
Minions has gone up and down and up and then down again. It's a tossup whether or not you'll actually find it running when you find it on Kongregate. It's one of those games that gained a massive player base like Subspace Continuum, and that kind of player base never dies.

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebook

Why am I doing this? Why would I hand over these successful strategies to everyone else? I've seen some really good games come out, including AirMech, PWI, and others, but my friends would give up because they just couldn't seem to get the game mechanics figured out, or they couldn't seem to earn anything to get new gear, equipment, or items. It's not fun to lose your friends in the game because they quit. It's not fun to play alone. Never could it be more true than in an MMO, 'the more, the merrier'.

The Ultimate Guide to MMO Pwnage ebook
I'm currently merging all my winning strategies and notes into this "Ultimate Guide to MMO 'Pwnage' ebook, and I'll post again here when it's finished. In the meantime, if you're interested in reading it, leave a comment below, you'll be the first to get a chance to get your hands on it.

Weegy.com Review - Stay Away

At first glance, Weegy seems to follow the trend of other sites where they promise a small source of income in return for providing a service, i.e. answering questions of other users. They promise up to $.20 per 'conversation', but it's usually much less. I answered over 70 questions and made a little over $3.50 U.S.D. However, moderators are allowed to flag your comments as incorrect or inappropriate, and thus you can get a negative rating very easily, and if you get 3 negative ratings, your account is closed. If you haven't made the minimum balance of $20 before your account is closed, you won't get paid.

It's a nice way for Weegy to make money off of you, and then find flimsy reasons not to pay you before they have to. My recommendation is to stay away from Weegy and try something else. I can heartily recommend the service I mentioned in my other post, which you can read by clicking here, as I've already had 3 payouts from them, and they are a legitimate paying company with a really nice community and very very nice administrators, unlike Weegy, where moderators seem to flag answers with negative ratings just for the heck of it.

Free Game Cards, Free Steam Cards, Free Retail Gift Cards - Points2Shop!

Is there a game you enjoy, but would enjoy more if you bought bonus packs or premium options for it? Maybe you can't bring yourself to open your wallet and actually spend the money on a game. Maybe you just don't think you can afford it or that you should spend the money on it. I have an answer for you. How about a free Steam gift card, a free Amazon gift card, or a free retail gift card?

You've heard of Lockerz, Swagbucks, and those other companies that are supposed to pay you for doing surveys, offers, and other tasks. Unfortunately, with Lockerz, the redemption of your points is sketchy, and you can't actually withdraw funds or get retail gift cards. Swagbucks seems to have a reputation for coming up with flimsy excuses when members reach a point where they want to cash out, and their account is mysteriously deactivated. Where can you earn easy money online?

Points 2 Shop!

It's a legitimate company, and has proven to pay out to it's members. I know some are extremely cynical of companies like this, and so was I, at first. I signed up, got some free points, and tried to order a gift card. Then I found out that you have to verify your address first by ordering something small first. You can order a dollar. That's right, they send a dollar in the mail to you. Within a couple days, you are a verified member, and can order other items from the store there. There are retail gift cards, Steam cards, game cards, Amazon cards, electronics, etc... there's way too much to go into here. At the moment I'm checking, they have over 2300 members online, and site-wide, members have earned over 5 million dollars! It really is the best online site for earning money out of thin air!

It's too good to be true, you say. It's not too good to be true, it is true! I've already received the $1 in the mail, one Amazon $10 gift card, and a $10 Walmart card is on it's way as well. It's really easy to earn points, and they rack up fast. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself. You get 250 free points just for signing up, and that counts toward that free dollar (100 points) you can order right away! I've probably only spent 2 days of half hearted earning on the site, so that tells you how fast you can rack up points!

I've posted pictures below of my rewards, for the skeptics. What are you waiting for?

EA's Need for Speed: World (NFSW) Review

At first glance, the graphics are passable, the effects and integration with objects in the game is pretty firm as well. When you step into the MMO aspect of it, it starts to leave much to be desired. There are all manner of hacks and cheats which enable players to do nothing and still get 1st place, or soup up their engines to go at incredible speeds, simply by using a hack. Secondly, 'pay2win' cars, or those bought with real world cash, are allowed to compete against those available for 'in-game' cash. There's quite a bit of uproar about that, but we'll see what EA has in store.

The only place I've seen NFSW shine is in the pursuits and private games. Here there's less of a chance for exploits, hacks, and server issues to cause problems with rewards at the end of the race/session. Here's my point: if you can't design a game that will accurately display to all players in real-time who is in the lead or who really won the race, there's no point in racing. Ask any professional racer and you'll get the same reply. It's a waste of resources, and it's not fun.

AirMech updates...and Xfire updates...

So Xfire (for video capture) isn't working for Steam AirMech anymore? Actually the Steam app needs to be rediscovered by Xfire, as Steam placed it in a different folder recently. Under Xfire, Tools, Games, navigate to the new updated AirMech.exe using manual detect, and Xfire will detect your game again. For most of you, that will be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\AirMech\AirMech.exe

Carbon Games has updated the UI and gameplay quite a bit over the past few months. For instance, you will now need to attack the actual outpost to take it with infantry. You can't just drop infantry and take over the outpost now. Also, you need to rid the outpost of all enemy infantry by attacking it before you can take it with infantry. Although this makes it three times as hard to take outposts now, it leads to longer games and less 'infantry wars', which I actually preferred to this new change.

Apparently Chopper is still OP, and still needs balancing, judging from how it can sit back and fire missiles with immunity, destroying nearly anything in range without taking damage. I guess it's rather obvious from the fact nearly all players seem to be choosing chopper in PvP matches, even Vets who usually prefer other mechs.

AirMech Notes

I've been creating videos out of my AirMech replays, and I put them up on Youtube for viewing. I don't use every one of my games, though. I usually exclude games where my opponent didn't really know what he was doing, or those games where my opponent left in the first 30 seconds of the game. I've been known to be rather aggressive during the start of many games, leading to people accusing me of hacking or using 'cheap tactics.' On the Duel map, for example, I was accusing of 'noobing' the other team when I snatched their outpost next to their base early on and started putting tanks and seekers behind the base. On inquiring as to how I was using a 'noob tactic', it was explained to me that precisely what I had done was a 'noob tactic' and that 'only noobs do that'. Actually, to be frank, not defending the back of your base when you see a threat seems more of a 'noob tactic' than the strategy I used. I'd always thought that unprotected SAM rushes, boomer rushes, jackal rushes, and ninja drops were examples of 'noob tactics'. First, because they're easily botched by mines or bombs, and secondly, they smack of desperation. I'm less inclined to speak badly of ninja drops, because many times, the opponent will only protect the front of their base, and you can easily sneak in behind and drop a few things, and defend them. But when your base is firmly protected on all sides, and your opponent keeps dropping tanks on suicide missions to your base, it becomes annoying, as it's pointless. Even if it manages to damage your base just a little at a time, the credits being wasted to make ninja drops are nothing compared to what you can amass in the way of a push against their base, if they keep it up.

All tactics aside, I was asked for a replay of a game I'd lost, and I had to say I didn't have one. To be honest, I rarely lose, especially in 1v1 games, which are my current preference. I'd say my current loss/win ratio is probably around 1/50 or 1/100, no joke. I'm still waiting for the Dev team to implement a win/loss ratio statistic, but I have a bad feeling someone would abuse it eventually. I reached #3 in Steam in total online wins for AirMech with 1,312 recently, and then I took a break for a while, to let everybody catch up (heh heh). Actually, I've won games where I was the only human player left against 3 expert human players, although I had 2 AI on my side. On the other hand, I've lost games on 3v3 because my teammates didn't know what they were doing, and weren't anywhere near the level of skill an AI player has, if you can say the AI has skills. AI has gotten better, but it's not as good as intermediate players yet. I'd have preferred AI to some teammates, because even an AI will back you up with base capture and maintaining defenses. I remember 1v1 games I've lost, and one was because I'd switched to Striker from Bomber, just to try it out again, and not being able to bomb some defenses I needed was my weak point, and I couldn't get past a certain defense to get the map back because of artillery. I've lost games because I was playing in the dark and couldn't see my keyboard. I know where the number keys are, but if you hit the wrong one, it can really handicap your game really fast, because you have to start cancelling building orders or start recycling units, and time is a precious commodity in AirMech. After a while, I gave up trying to play in the dark and always have light available, just because it's easier that way. The last time I lost was against a player I'd beat several times before, and I treated him as though he was still a beginner, until he suddenly spammed 6 or 7 tanks at my base I couldn't destroy fast enough, because I hadn't expected it, and I had no defense, as I'd never needed one against him before. He'd nearly always quit the games just before I got to his base, in previous games. Nevertheless, he refuses to ever play against me again, so there's no way we can ever do a rematch with me in my normal playing mode, and I respect that. If you happen to win by the skin of your teeth against someone who's beat you multiple times in the past, and you don't think you can ever do it again, because they'll be ready for you, why bother trying again?

In all seriousness, though, if you haven't started playing AirMech yet, you really should head over to www.carbongames.com and check it out. You can get it as a Chrome app, but I really recommend to try to get a Steam key for it, or at least get the PC version. Chrome still seems to cause lag spikes every time I use it, but it has improved immensely. One thing I really like about the Carbon Games team is that they take suggestions seriously. If you can think of something that would improve the game, suggest it. They regularly implement player suggestions into the game, and they have a referral system that allows players with lots of referrals to design items in the game with the Dev team. Tell me, what other game has an awesome Dev team like that? I don't know of any, and I'm certain there aren't any games as cool as AirMech out there, and there certainly aren't any with a Dev team like Carbon Games. If you haven't checked it out yet, come check it out. There's an awesome community already built around the game and forums, so come play AirMech, and post some of your videos on Youtube, and get some referrals so you can design an item with the Dev team!
